Caddo Schools Begin Monday, August 31st
Caddo Public Schools are to begin their fall term Monday, August 31st, according to Joe McKinnis, superintendent.
Juniors and Seniors who live in town will enroll between 8:30 and 10 a.m. Friday the 28th. Freshmen and Sophomores who live in town will enroll between 10 and 12 Friday. Seventh and Eighth grades in town will be enrolled Friday morning. Buses will run Friday afternoon for out of twin pupils, of which all grades will enroll then. Rock Springs is an additional route.
Grammar school children will likewise enroll Friday at their school, town in the morning, out of town in the afternoon.
A Faculty and Board meeting will be held Thursday evening at the High School.

Football practice begins on Monday the 25th at 9 a.m. Coach Faudree says: “It is very important for all boys to be present as we have a game Sept. 11th and we must get in shape for it.”
Stenography and music is offered this year for the first time as a credit. A charge of $3.00 per semester is made for use of typewriters, about half the cost of the machines.
It is much desired that every pupil begin the first day and continue throughout the term. A day lost can never be regained.
Janitors and principals with the superintendent are busy at this time getting buildings in shape for the fall term.
