FFA Boys Put on a Radio Program at Sherman Thursday Afternoon
Caddo FFA Boys put on a radio program over KRRV, the Denison-Sherman station last Thursday at 3:15 to 5:00 p.m.
“The Bullfrog on the Bank” was sung by the FFA boys, a quintet of Harry Boydstun, Robert Mills, Ray Bilbo, Kenneth McCreary, and Ernest Brooks. Mr. Rankin gave a talk in relation to the program. Mr. E. O. Henninger had a short talk about the benefit of vocational agriculture in our schools. A question and answer interview was held between Joe Bass and Dolan Emerson about this sheep. Another such interview was had between Dolan Emerson and K. McCreary about his chickens.
Thurmond Green told some of the accomplishments of the chapter.
The program closed with another song by the quintet, “FFA, my FFA”, which was accompanied on the piano by Miss Mildred Jean McCreary.
