The Caddo Herald
June 23, 1933
On Tuesday afternoon, Mrs. O. R. Smith entertained at her home with a bridge party honoring her daughter Mrs. Hunter Joe Hogan of Barrance Bermeja, Columbia, South America. The tallies and score cards were miniature maps of South America, decorated with tiny ships. High score for the afternoon’s play was won by Miss Ruth Hancock and low score by Mrs. Bill Smith, with the guest prize being presented to the honoree.
The guests were served in buffet style. One of the interesting points of the decorations were the hand painted table covers which the honoree had brought with her from Panama.
Those present enjoying this occasion were: Mrs. Bill Smith, Mrs. Harold Sutton, Mrs. E. O. Henninger, and Misses Ruth Hancock, Louise Clower, Inez Hogan, Beth Moore, Helen Sargent, Margeurite Boland, Zuleika Boland, Mildred Guthrie, and the honoree.
