The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Hester of Caney and is employed in Jacobs Department Store in Caddo. He is a fine young man and has lots of friends who are congratulating him on his marriage.
The bride lived in the Postoak community and is a fine young woman of lovely character and has a host of friends in Caddo.
They will make their home in Caney, though Bennett is employed in Caddo.
W. M. Society
Regular meeting of the Woman’s Missionary Society was held at the Annex Tuesday with Mrs. W. E. McIntosh presiding.
Mrs. L. M Wood read the Bible lesson, followed by prayer by Mrs. Henderson.
Good reports were given by all departments of the society.
A study class soon will begin in Bible work and we will be glad to have all who are interested join the class.
It was voted to place a new covering on one of the floors of the parsonage. The society is to hold a food market next Saturday at J. C. Hogan’s grocery store. Phone Mrs. Hogan if you want anything.
Meeting was dismissed with a prayer by Mrs. Hogan.
