Walker’s Café Opens
Mrs. G. A. Walker, of Durant, opened the café in the Schwartz building Thursday at noon with a chicken dinner.
Mrs. Walker is in charge of the cafe and invites the patronage of the public.
The new establishment is modern in every way, will serve regular meals and short orders; also a line of groceries and confections will be carried.

The Woman’s Baptist Missionary Society met at the church Tuesday afternoon with fourteen members and one visitor present.
Our lesson was on “Personal Service Work” with four members taking parts.
The meeting closed with song and prayer. Visitors always welcome.

Caddo Plays Tishomingo Friday
Friday afternoon the Caddo High School football team will meet the Tishomingo team on the local gridiron. Of course we’ll win, but we could have little pep along with it. Show your interest by coming out and helping us yell. Admission 25c.
