Monthly Report of Liberty School
Month ending January 16, 1914
On account of having school on part of Christmas week we are forced to report more absent than on last month, but if the weather and health will permit I think our next report will be a record breaker of anything our school has ever made. So watch for our next report. Fathers and mothers, the success of our school largely depends on your support. Let’s see just how few tardies and absents we can have; we do certainly appreciate the help you can give us in this work. Keep your boys in school and keep them out of jail when they grow older- it is the only safe route to true man and womanhood by which they may live happy regardless of wealth- lets push our boys and girls while they are young and when they grow older they will push themselves and make useful men and women. Raise a boy and girl up right and when they grow older they will not depart from it. We show you below how your children stands on my books.

Note the names that appeared last month and does not appear this month have been dropped for non-attendance and parents note the progress of those who are neither absent nor tardy and let’s try to do away with the words absent and tardy. We can do it so watch for our next report if anything happens.
W. D. Clark was a pleasant caller, call again. W. D. we always appreciate a visit from any patron to spend a day with us if you can. Come mothers and spend your evening with us- nothing will encourage us more and it is your duty to come. Our ball teams are feeling gailey this nice weather. Chas. W. Shaw, Prin.
