Died: Lizzie Austin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. D. Unsell, died Wednesday evening of consumption. Deceased was in her 15th year and had a host of loving friends who mourn her early demise. Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church at 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Interment was in the Caddo Cemetery. (The Aug. 18 issue also has this item: John J. Curtis, of Durant, has been in the city this week visiting the family of his son-in-law W. L. D. Unsell.) Died: Mrs. Jane Moore, aged 66 years, died at Durant Tuesday.
Died: Mrs. W. N. Hudson died Monday at Colbert after a long illness.
Died: Little Richard Boydstun, the 10 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Boydstun, died Friday night.
A number of persons in and around Caddo have been sick recently and the physicians have had their hands full with calls.
Miss Cora Ward is convalescing from a severe spell of sickness.
Little Ruby Tarpley, who has been quite sick for several days is recovering.
Mrs. Calvin Robinson, who has been very ill for some time is convalescent.
J. P. House was slightly in an accident Tuesday. His horse fell with him.
