Shower Honoring Miss Zuleika Boland
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe McKInnis was a virtual flower garden Friday evening when Mesdames L. M. Wood, W. E. McIntosh, Mary Wilson, Mamie B. Folsom, Henry Bass, Robert Weirman, Lake Brewer, W. L. Guthrie,and Mrs. McKinnis entertained with a reception shower honoring Miss Zuleika Boland who on March the 7th became the bride of Ray Pace.
The guests were greeted by Mrs. McKinnis, who presented them to the bride, Miss Zuleika Boland. Miss Margarette Boland, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Laura Pace, mother of the groom.
Mrs. McKinnis wore a beige frock with pink and white corsage. Miss Boland wore pink with a beautiful corsage of pink and white carnations and sweet peas. Miss Margarette Boland wore black with the corsage of pink and white carnations and sweet peas. Mrs. Pace wore blue with the pink and white corsage.
Mrs. Bass poured the tea and was assisted by Mrs. McIntosh, Mrs. Wood, and Mrs. Lake Brewer.
Mrs. Guthrie presided at the guest book.
Miss Sarah Goddard, Durant, Miss Ruth Cochran, and Miss Mary D. Lilly furnished the music.
Throughout the evening fifty guests called during the evening. The out of town guests were Mrs. Gordon Folsom, Mrs. Max Meadows, Mrs. Wendell Haygood, and Miss Sarah Goddard, Durant.
