Roy E. Crossett of Soper was here last Friday visiting us.
Buford Bates of Dallas visited his brother Alex Bates Monday.
Mrs. and Mrs. Charles Dale were here Sunday from Antlers to see her mother Mrs. Barber.
T. C. Williamson is in Wilson N. Jones hospital in Sherman undergoing medical treatment.
Howard Cochran and Misses Ruth and Jean Cochran are home from a visit to New York.
Mrs. R. L. Pace accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Ray Pace home to Ft. Smith and is visiting there now.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake C. Davison were here from Fort Worth this week. They are moving soon to Austin, Texas.
Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Beard of route one announce the birth of a son, Gary Floyd, August 16 in a hospital in Durant.
Mr. and Mrs. Chapman and family of Grand Prairie, Texas, were guests of her sister Mrs. Karnes and family Sunday.
Mrs. L. M. Wood spent Saturday and Sunday in Wapanucka. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Payne brought her home Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Edward Smith and young son spent the past week in Caddo with relatives. He is in the Navy.

Mrs. John Wisdom and Mr. and Mrs. Grady Joines attended the funeral of Melvin Vest in Durant Wednesday. He died in England.
Rev. and Mrs. R. R. Reed were in Caddo a while Tuesday visiting old friends while enroute to Nebraska. He formerly was the Methodist pastor here.
Mrs. John Impson and son John, daughter, Rebekah, left Sunday to go to California, after a visit of two months with her mother. She will join her husband in Japan in a month or so.
Mr. and Mrs. Pat Hardy, Pat and Jan, LeRoy Downing, Miss Cherry Park, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Choate and Mr. and Mrs. John B. Poyner enjoyed a basket dinner and swimming party on the lake Wednesday evening.
Misses Margie Sue Fox, Linda Wood, Robbie Fern Sargent, Lanecia Dickey, Joyce and Betty Robinson, and Davey Call and Rev. Charles Puckett attended the Youth Fellowship district rally in Tishomingo Monday night.
Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Crossett, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Bates, and Mary J., LeRoy and Jerry Downing, and Mr. and Mrs. Pat Hardy, Pat, and Jan, spent Sunday in McAlester with Guy G. Crossett and family. It had been many years since all the Crossett family were together for a reunion.
