Buy Shirts at Home
There was a shirt order solicitor in Caddo yesterday, but he got but few orders for the reason that they can get just as good shirts of the merchants in town for less money and the money stays at home, where they have a chance of seeing it again.
If everybody sent away for their goods there would be no town here and no excuse for its existence.
During the sales our merchants have shirt offerings that enable a man to get good shirts of equal value for less than half the money they have to pay the shirt solicitor. Buy it at home where your job is, where you get your money.
(Note: price list is from a huge 1917 ad for the Surprise Store, owned by Siegel and Damie. )
