Mrs. Hampton Dies

At Kenefick Saturday Mrs. Hampton, mother of W. L. Guthrie, died. The remains were brought to Caddo and buried here Sunday morning, the funeral conducted by Rev. Naylor and an old friend of her father, Rev. Matheney, who for many years was a Methodist preacher in this conference.

There were present besides friends of the family, two brothers from Arkansas and a son from Illinois.

Mrs. Hampton was a fine motherly woman loved by all who knew her and many grieved her taking away, yet knowing that on the other shore was for her rest and complete happiness.
