Court Postponed
County Judge Rappolee by phone Wednesday morning to Clerk Manning informed the people that the Caddo term of County Court had been postponed until the May term.
This action was taken because of the prevalence of meningitis in other parts of the county and the coming of the court might cause the disease to be spread still further.
Caddo has to date had none of the dreaded disease, but it behooves our people to be careful so that we may continue immune.
Branching Out
Hon. W. F. Semple is establishing an office for the practice of law in Durant, where he can be nearer court. He will maintain an office in Caddo, where he can attend to such business as comes to him here.
The Herald regrets to lose Mr. Semple as a citizen, as a professional man, and a town builder. He has done many things for the improvement of Caddo and we are glad he is not to turn loose all holds.
