The Airship Case
The jury in the trial of the airship case at Truant last Friday returned a verdict of $333.33 for the plaintiffs.
This is the case where the airship company attempted to make flights at the Caddo Corn Carnival last August, but made a miserable failure, and the committee refused to pay full contract price. The airship people refused a compromise and elected to sue. They sued for $1,400, but the verdict of the jury shows how unreasonable their demands were.
