Claudene Joines Warrick, Former Caddo Girl, Killed
Word was received here Thursday morning of the automobile accident near Post, Texas in which Mrs. J. C. Warrick, formerly Miss Claudene Joines, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Joines, who live west of Caddo, was killed.
Mr. Warrick was also seriously injured in the accident; according to the message received here. Mr. and Mrs. Warrick were enroute here from their home in Post to spend the Christmas holidays with her parents.
Definite details of the wreck could not be obtained at our press time.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Nazarene Church for Mrs. Claudene (Joines) Warrick, who was killed Thursday morning near her home in Post, Texas, in an automobile accident.
Rev. E. P. Harmon of Durant was in charge of the funeral services and was assisted by Rev. Howard Gibson, also of Durant. Music was furnished by the high school chorus and a mixed chorus of local singers. Interment was in the Caddo Cemetery.
Mrs. Warrick, who was married in September, with her husband, J. C. Warrick, was on her way home for a visit with her parents when the accident occurred.
She is survived by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Joines who live west of the city, four sisters: Eileen, Ila Mae, Delma Fay, and Nina Floyd; and four brothers: William, Paul, Maxey, James Ray, and Oral Jay.
Among those form out of town who were here to attend the funeral were J. C. Warrick, Mr. and Mrs. J. Warrick, all of Post, Texas; Mrs. Roy Cates and son of Whitewright, Texas; Mrs. Harve Dollar of Ardmore, and Mrs. Hannah and sons of Ardmore.
