Lewis T. Martin wants to be the next County Judge
We are authorized this week to announce the name of Lewis T. Martin as a candidate for County Judge of Bryan County subject to the action of the democratic primary, July 12th.
Mr. Martin has served the past four years as assistant to B. W. Carter in the county attorney’s office and feels that he is entitled to a promotion to be the next judge.
Mr. Martin is well known to the citizens of Caddo and is only letting his wishes be known at this time and will have a full and complete statement to make at a later time.
Boy Scouts
The Boy Scouts will meet Tuesday night. All Scouts are urged to be present.

Intermediate G. A.s
The Intermediate G. A.s met at the home of Mrs. Warner Adair last Monday with 14 members present. Gertrude Sims was leader of the program. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess.
Baptist W. M. U.
Circle 4 met at Mrs. Carlton’s Feb. 15th with 4 members present. The meeting was opened with prayer by Mrs. Cochran.
Mrs. Ruel Choate gave the scripture reading from I Tim. 4:1-8 and Matt. 5:12.
Minutes were read and approved.
Mrs. Cochran taught the II chapter of Personal Service Guide.
Mrs. Carlton was selected as the leader for our next meeting to be held Feb. 22 at the home of Mrs. Ruel Choate.
