Jack Shipman Dies
Jack Shipman, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Shipman of Caddo, died at the family home at 7:30 last Sunday after a brief illness.
The funeral was held Monday at the family home with a Pentecostal minister in charge. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.
Jack was only 12 years of age and he is survived by two brothers and two sisters. A host of friends and relatives mourn his departure from this world.
Downtown Sunday School
You are extended a cordial invitation to attend the downtown Sunday School class being held each Sunday morning at the American Legion Hut. There is no need to dress up for this class. W. R. Evans, Teacher.
Honor Roll Students
Two Caddo students, Hardenia Ellis, and David Wilson, were among the sixty-five to make the Honor Roll at Southeastern State Teachers College. “To be among the 65 students from our group of 1,600 indicates high scholastic ability,” President Briggs said in commenting on the fine work of the two Caddo students. Both are members of several campus organizations.
