Fire Boys Banquet

Last Tuesday night, in honor of retiring Chief J. L. Hendryx, the Caddo Fire Department gave a banquet at the J. L. Walker shop. It was largely attended and good fellowship prevailed. Owing to going away, Mr. Hendryx resigned as Chief, and Art Wright was elected in his place.

John L. Boland, in his usual happy vein, presented the badge to the new chief who bears the honors thus thrust upon him with pride and becoming dignity. Art is a good selection.

Mr. Hendryx, with his family, left this week for Ada where they will make their home.
