As a family historian I love to see posts like this because they add so much insight into the character and personality of people. I hope someone from the Rice family sees this.

Why We Should Elect Lonnie Rice
Sup’t of Bryan County
1st Because he is a country boy brought up and educated in and near Caddo, has obtained his education by great efforts on his own part, and has proven himself a capable leader for our schools by his upright Christian conduct.
2nd. He is an ex-service man and is due the support of his fellow citizens and fellow service men because of his loyalty to them as a mere youth.
3rd. Because he has devoted his life since the World War to the profession of teaching, and solving the teacher’s problems. He has every indication for a success to his chosen field from his past record as a teacher.
4th. Because he is young and has a bright future before him, which is sure to be, to the best of his ability, devoted to the raising and support of higher standards of educating the future citizens of our country. A Friend.
