Commencement to be Held Next Week

Beginning Sunday

Another year of school work will come to a close next week with Commencement on Thursday night at the high school auditorium. Twenty-two seniors will graduate.

Baccalaureate service will be at the Methodist church Sunday morning at 11 am. Rev. A. J. Ward pastor of the Baptist church will deliver the sermon. Rev. Thos. J. Edmonds, pastor of the Nazarene church will assist.

On Tuesday night, May 17, the senior class will have its annual class night program at the high school auditorium at 8:15.

G. T. Stubbs, Superintendent of Durant city school will deliver the commencement address on Thursday night. John Owens will give the salutatory address and Annette Powell the valedictory address.

The commencement program is to be at the high school auditorium at 8 pm.
