Everybody around Caddo is well acquainted with Shearl. He is a fine citizen and good school man. He got his education in Caddo schools, STC and teaching school. He has taught in many district schools and is principal of Caddo Grammar School.
He has lived in Bryan County more than 20 years. As a pupil and teacher of county schools he is familiar with their needs. As pupil each year in College he has kept abreast of modern methods of teaching and of caring for the schools of the county.
Shearl Shofner is a man blameless in life, one who takes an active interest in those things that tend to make communities better places in which to live.
If Prof. Shofner is elected he will put forth his best efforts to attend to the duties of the office, and to make the schools of the county keep step with the needs of the children.
Always a democrat, he offers his experience, ability, and active mature manhood in the service of the county.
