J. F. Dendy Killed
News came to Caddo that Prof. J. F. Dendy was thrown from his horse last Thursday on his farm near Linsey, and received wounds from which he died Saturday.
Prof. Dendy taught in Caddo High School last year and has many friends who will regret to learn of his death. He was a high type of young man, a member of the Baptist church, and was consistent in his life.
Pace to Build
R. L. Pace has bought the Amos K. Bass lot on West Buffalo street and plans to build a nice home there right away. He thinks the structure will be of brick.
When completed this well be one of the nicest homes in town and one of the choicest residence lots.
Notice, Dog Owners
License tax on dogs due on May 1st of each year. Tax is $1.00 on male dogs and $2.00 on female dogs. All dogs running loose on the streets must be muzzled. This Ordinance will be enforced. Get license tag from City Treasurer.

Notice- Cut Weeds
All weeds within the town must be cut. If the owner neglects to cut the weeds the town will have them cut at the owner’s expense.

Burrough-Harris
On July 24th at his home east of town, Rev. Roy Ellis united in marriage Mr. Oliver Burrough and Miss Rady Harris.
The groom is a Texas young man and has many friends there. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Kate Harris of Caddo, was reared here and has a host of friends.
The young people left Saturday for Turkey, Texas where they expect to make their home. It is the wish of their friends here that wedded life will be a happy journey for them.
