Midway was located “midway” between Lehigh and Atoka and had a post office from 1902 to 1911. While there may not be any Caddo people in today’s article, I couldn’t resist posting this because of the requirements for the honor roll. Hysterical by today’s standards!!

Midway Items
School enrollment was greatly increased Monday the 11th.
The entire student body assembled in the auditorium for a program Monday, of patriotic songs and Armistice exercises. A prayer in behalf of those who answered the call of our country was given by Mr. Miller. Harry Sims led in the Flag salute.
A new coal house is built.
A Thanksgiving program will be given at Midway—date later.
Primary Honor Roll: James Marcus Miller, Charles Ralls, Joe Richard Ralls, Louise Hale, Joe Hale, David Horn, Jr. Requirements for this roll are: drink 3 glasses of milk a day, sleep ten hours a day, take at least two baths a week, shampoo your hair every two weeks, wash your teeth twice a day, clean your nails, be neither absent nor tardy.

Helen Skaggs is unable to attend school on account of illness.
Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Miller had as guests this weekend Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Miller of Bonham.
J. H. Burks and family have moved to Seminole county.
V. L. Harding and family have moved to Armstrong.
There will be a box supper Friday night Nov. 15. Everybody is cordially invited.
