Jno. Wren Accidently Kills Himself Mar. 29

 John Wren, a former citizen of Durant, but recently conducting a general merchandise store at Cade, this county, accidently shot and killed himself near his store late Saturday night. Wren had started home from the store and was carrying the day’s receipts and his pistol. He stumbled and fell and the gun was discharged, the bullet entering the fleshy part of the leg and severing a vein. His cries brought neighbors who summoned a physician, but Wren died from loss of blood before the physician could give him relief. He lived long enough to tell how the accident happened.
