Letters to Santa Claus (continued)
All I wish for Christmas is to know that all my relatives are well and to know that everybody and that each boy and girl has a home, clothing, food, and warmth. Yours truly, Geraldine Dowd.
I wish you would remember me and all other children this year. I do not want to wish for too much, so you can bring other children presents. I would like to have a box of candy, electric stove, a doll bed and a wrist watch. If I don’t get that I’d like to have the watch anyway. I also wish you a merry Christmas. I have tried to be good this year and I hope you are good to me. I want a bicycle and if I can’t get it, I want a pair of skates and a book, but be sure to save plenty for other children.
