Big Snake in Caddo
A velvet-backed rattlesnake measuring six feet in length and having six rattles and a button was killed on the Turnbull place nine miles east of Caddo Tuesday and exhibited on the street here Wednesday.
Lon Moran killed the reptile with a club. He was in the act of setting his foot down within six inches of its head when he discovered the snake.
The snake’s skin has been stuffed with cotton and bran and is now on display in the front show-window at McIntosh’s drug store.
