Forbes (Forbis, Forbus) Manning was one of the sons of Dr. Thomas and Matilda Manning. I believe his wife was Laura Griffith.

Mrs. Manning Died
At Mineral Wells last Thursday night, Mrs. Forbes Manning died after several months’ illness.
The remains were brought to Caddo and buried in Caddo Cemetery Saturday. The funeral was held at the family home just north of town, by Rev. Frank Naylor.
Mrs. Manning had been to Sherman and to Mineral Wells seeking relief from heart trouble, and apparently had found it, she being much better up to Thursday when she began to sink and it was but a few hours until she breathed her last.
She ws 48 years of age; leaves three children, Mrs. Ross Bonner, Lloyd Manning, and Mrs. Buel Braudrick, all of Caddo; and her husband, F. Manning who was with her all the time during her illness.
Deceased was a member of the Methodist church and was a woman respected by all who knew her.
