The Caddo Herald
January 9, 1903
Parties who were boring the well for Amos K. Bass for waterworks in Caddo struck water in large quantities last Saturday and preparations are being made for testing the supply. If found sufficient the necessary machinery will be forthcoming and the system installed. The town council has already granted the franchise and as soon as enough water is found the town will be supplied. It is earnestly hoped that this supply will be sufficient and that Caddo will not have to wait longer for water. Lack of this fluid has greatly hindered our growth, and many enterprises otherwise impossible will come.
