Mrs. Lyle Dies
Mrs. J. B. Lyle died at her home in Caddo Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock after a long illness. The remains were buried in Caddo Cemetery Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Hotchin, pastor of the Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Lyle is survived by a son and daughter, Edgar Lyle and Miss Francis Lyle. She was about 85 years of age.
Mrs. Lyle came to Caddo about thirty years ago and has lived here ever since. She was loved by all who knew her. Mrs. Lyle had vivid recollections of the Civil War, having married Capt. Lyle during the four years’ conflict.
