Fieldon Gravitt

The court at Durant Saturday adjudged Fieldon Gravitt insane, and he was taken to Vinita Sunday for treatment and confinement.

Wednesday upon a charge of murdering his wife and child, Fielden Gravitt was held without bail to answer the charge. The defense plead insanity.

It will be remembered how that Mrs. Gravitt and young child were found with their heads crushed in their home nearly three weeks ago. No eye witnesses to the murder have been found. The manner of the killing is still a mystery.

(Yes, I will check at the library today for the article about the murder.)
