Aged Woman Dies

At the home of Mr. Ellis Smith, Saturday morning at 6 o’clock, Mrs. A. Powell died after a paralytic stroke of some days. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon, interment in Caddo Cemetery.

Deceased is survived by her husband and numerous children and grandchildren. She was visiting at the Smith home when stricken several days ago and never was able to  be brought to her house in town.

She and her husband had lived together sixty years, being 81 years old at the time of her death.  

She was a devout Christian, being a member of the Christian church whose pastor conducted the funeral.
