At the residence of the bride’s mother, Caddo, Feb. 18th, 1877, by Rev. J. Y. Bryce, Mr. E. C. McLaughlin of Muskogee, Cherokee Nation, to Miss Belle Harlan, of Caddo.
After the ceremony the salutations were opened by the bride-groom kissing the bride. Kisses were interchanged 'til we could not make out which was which. Then followed a splendid dinner and the bride and groom left for Sherman, Texas to spend the honeymoon. The bride’s dress was dove colored D___ with gold ornaments- hair dressed with roses and white plume. The News wishes them a world of happiness.
