Married

At the residence of the bride’s mother, Caddo, Feb. 18^th, 1877, by Rev. J. Y. Bryce, Mr. E. C. McLaughlin of Muskogee, Cherokee Nation, to Miss Belle Harlan, of Caddo.

After the ceremony the salutations were opened by the bride-groom kissing the bride. Kisses were interchanged 'til we could not make out which was which. Then followed a splendid dinner and the bride and groom left for Sherman, Texas to spend the honeymoon. The bride’s dress was dove colored D___ with gold ornaments- hair dressed with roses and white plume. The News wishes them a world of happiness.
