Senior Doings
Aren’t we IT, though? We are winners in both beauty contest and debate. We pride ourselves on the fact that we are beautiful and wise.
Buster is with us again after a short illness.
We had a party after the track meet Friday. Mrs. Coffey made the nicest angel food cake and we served it with pineapple ice cream. These refreshments did not seem quite to fit the cold weather. Everybody had a lovely time.
Weldon almost wasn’t Friday morning. A few miles south on the highway he stopped his car to pick up someone; a few minutes later he was picking himself up.

During play practice in the auditorium, some of the students
slipped off to the Home Ec. Room and made candy. This
was the first class to wear caps and gowns.
Junior Jottings
Joe (Hill) is back in school again. We are glad to have him with us.
Durant! Well when the name is mentioned a few Junior kids have queer feelings. Wonder why?
Alas! Macon (Smith) is a shiek. Who would have thought it?
We didn’t get robbed on the way to the bank Friday, but I’ll tell you we were sure skeered.
The Junior girls are a tacky bunch so Claude (Schwartz) says. His interests are elsewhere.
The 20th of April is a great date; it’s Junior-Senior Banquet.
We wish to thank all the classes for what they contributed toward the cause of the Juniors.
Sophomore Notes
Sophs are very proud of Dayle (Sawyers), who was high point man in the track meet here Friday. However, we are sorry that he did not win.
Sophs will be well represented in the district track meet this weekend.
BeeBee (Chiles) was shopping in Durant last Saturday.
Our prodigal is back with a smiling face. Misfortune left him undaunted.
We are beginning to find out why so many of our pupils look sleepy.
