Dark Moon?
‘Rah for the D. M. S. we were dressed as sailors last Friday for the weekly celebration- the football game. Also we were adorned with the black and orange galore. Sports? I say! We’re in for ‘em; especially doting on football. To the Cubs- if you’ll win the next two games for us, we’ll promise you- well, you won’t regret it. Get in the game and we’ll be on hand to do the yelling 100 per cent strong.
Our gay number is composed of:
Marybeth Moore
Doris Maytubby
Helen Sargent
Vivian Amyett
Hilda Guthrie
Dorothy Laurence
Marilee Hogan
Ailene Adkins
Frances Wood
Sewell Barber
Lou Cylle Coffey
You may certainly rely on eleven voices “rahing” their best.
Watch us go!!

D. M. S. Ladies
Present for the gathering at Mrs. England’s were Mrs. Charles Dale (Sewell Barber), Atoka; Mrs. Alex Bates (Janice Crossett), Anaheim, Calif.; Mrs. C. L. Wood (Hilda Guthrie), Caddo; Mrs. Files Shoemaker (Vivian Amyette), Odessa, Texas; Mrs. Marvin Powers (Beth Moore), Hyattsville, Md.; Mrs. William Gillespie (Dorothy Lawrence), Oklahoma city, and Mrs. Jim Whittington (Helen Sargent), Caddo.
The ladies had a fine time traveling down memory lane. They met in the afternoon and visited on the patio and in the garden at Mrs. England’s.
Mrs. England served a candlelight dinner that evening. The table was decorated in delicate pink with a matching fresh flower centerpiece.
The rest of the evening was spent reliving joyful occasions and sharing memories of years gone by, both amusing and sad. More reminiscing took place at breakfast, served overlooking the patio and garden.
Final goodbyes were said with sadness, and a vow not to let another 40 years go by before getting together.

Get Together
Members of the Caddo D. M. S. got together for a happy reunion recently in the home of Mrs. John England (Frances Wood) of Tulsa.
The D.M. S., better known as the Dark Moon Society, was a girls’ club formed at Caddo School in the twenties. It had been many a moon since the members had been together—some 40 years.
