Tishomingo Defeats Caddo Friday- Score was 7-6
Last Friday, on the Tishomingo field, the Tishomingo high school team under the tutelage of C. J. Powell, defeated the Caddo Cubs to the tune of 7 to 6.
With four first-string players declared ineligible the middle of this week, Caddo was working under somewhat of a handicap, but never the less displayed a wonderful brand of football to the Tishomingo fans. Caddo’s line possesses only one letterman, Captain Castellow, and in the face of this we can say that the boys made a wonderful fight toward the winning of the game. This backfield displayed some fine ball carrying making their touchdown on straight line plays.
Boyd of Tishomingo was the individual star of the game and it was due mainly to his work that Tishomingo’s score was made.
Next Friday Caddo invades Kingston for their annual affair and this should be an exceptionally good game.
The Starting line-up for the game Friday:
Templeman, left end
Ellis, left tackle
B. Jones, left guard
Castellow, Captain, center
L. Jones, right guard
Lacey, right tackle
Adair, right end
Williamson, quarterback
Harris, left half
Graham, right half
Flowers, fullback
