Married
McBride-Murrow- On January 16th, at Atoka, C. N. by Rev. H. F. Buckner, D. D., Mr. W. A. McBride and Miss Clara A. Murrow.
A box of very nice cake accompanied the above, which was duly placed under our pillow to dream on, and as both of the editors of the Free Press are married, the only thing they could dream of was the annoyances of wash days, etc. The cake, however, was good and while giving to the young couple our best wishes for their future prosperity, we also return thanks for being remembered.
Vales-Stidham- In Caddo on Sunday the 19th by Rev. Edward Morris, Mr. J. F. Vales and Mrs. M. Stidham.
Lewis-Logan- In the Free Press office on January 22nd by Rev. Edward Morris, Mr. Absolem Lewis and Miss Nancy Logan.
These couples have an equal start,
They are vigorous and fleet,
Anxiety fills every heart
To know which one will beat.
