Miss Caroline Nail who is employed in Sherman, spent the weekend a t home.
Mrs. Edith Adkins has returned from a visit in Atoka.
Mrs. Elizabeth Mitchell, district supervisor of the lunch program, visited the Caddo Schools Monday.
Mrs. N. B. Sawyer has returned from Sherman where she underwent treatment at a clinic.
Mr. and Mrs. Jones Sharp and children have returned to Tulsa after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Washington.
Mr. and Mrs. Lake Brewer were in Sherman Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Williamson, Mrs. Nita Gibson, and Miss Juanita Williamson have returned from a visit in Asher.
Mrs. M. A. Cassidy and Jimmy Carroll and Mrs. Eleanor Slack were in Durant Sunday to attend the dedication services of the Church of Christ. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Walter Mills.
Mrs. R. L. Pace is visiting relatives in Waxahachie, Texas.
Mrs. John McCalman, Mrs. M. G. Downing, Mrs. Mary Locke and Mrs. C. D. Robison were in Atoka Sunday to attend a School of instruction of the Eastern Star.
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Bray of Okmulgee were weekend visitors in the home of T. T. Bray. Miss Mabel Bray accompanied them home for a visit.
Mrs. Roy Ellis was in Durant Monday visiting her daughter.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Stevens of Bonham, Texas visited her sister, Mrs. Fred Washington and Mr. Washington, Sunday.
Mrs. J. D. Maytubby spent the weekend in Windom, Texas with her mother, Mrs. F. G. Rasberry.
Major and Mrs. C. C. Jones Arrive Home From Japan
Major and Mrs. C. C. Jones and Mrs. Frankie Izard of Durant, were guests in the G. A. Crossett home Monday. Major and Mrs. Jones returned Saturday from Kobe, Japan. Major Jones has been stationed in Japan for the past two and one half years.
Mrs. Jones will be remembered as Miss Bertie Wood, who formerly lived here. major and Mrs. Jones say they like Japan all right.
Kenefic Boy in Calf Scramble at Tulsa Exposition
Roy Johnson, Kenefic 4-H club youth, left for Tulsa with the family pickup early this morning where he hopes to capture a calf in the club boys’ calf scramble at Tulsa tonight.
Roy took the pickup along just in case he is one of the lucky club youths who capture a calf which are given to the club boys to feed out and show in the Tulsa Exposition next spring.
