Funeral Held for Edmond Wingfield

Funeral services were held here Monday in the Baptist Church for Edmond Earl Wingfield, Jr. nine-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Wingfield of Kenefic.

Young Wingfield died one day after being stricken with meningitis.

Services were conducted by Rev. Kirk, and burial was in the Center Hill Cemetery north of Kenefic, with Holmes Funeral home directing.

In addition to his parents the child is survived by three brothers, Dewey, Harold, and Frank; four sisters, Ewan, Melba, Nelda, and Lou, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mr. E. P. Goad, Wade, Okla. and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wingfield of Kenefic.
