Cost of Living
The main reason for high cost of living is that people demand and receive more convenience. The living costs more, but it is worth more. For instance, in Caddo not less than $300 per month is spent by the grocers in maintaining delivery teams and wagons. If people did not demand delivered goods this cost would be eliminated. There are many other things that require money that the ultimate consumer pays for. Demand less service and the cost will be less.
