Buys Carnival Stock
The Music Club, at a called meeting last week, voted to invest in six shares of Caddo Corn Carnival stock and the stock has been issued by the Secretary of the Carnival Company. The Music Club is a booster of home institutions and they are doing a good work for the town in many ways.
Picnic Postponed
The Civic Club basket picnic scheduled for tonight (Friday) at the Carnival grounds has been indefinitely postponed on account of the revival now in progress at the Christian Church.
Gospel Meeting
Sunday night Evangelist G. W. Campbell began a meeting at the Christian Church to continue indefinitely. There have been four additions to date and the interest continues to grow. Everyone is invited to hear the splendid gospel sermons being preached by Bro. Campbell in a spirit becoming a preacher of the old Jerusalem Gospel. Preaching at 8:15 each night. All are urged to be present at each service.

The Methodist ladies will not serve ice cream and cake at the Carnival ground tonight, as was announced, owing to the meeting now going on and not wishing to interfere with it in any way. Another date may be announced later.
