The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Baxter who are among the early settlers of this community, is a young man of probity, a successful farmer , and stockman; he was born and raised near Caddo.
The bride is a daughter of the late Michael O’Dea, who came to Caddo with the building of the railroad in 1872; is a charming and accomplished young woman; was born near Caddo.
Both young people not having other homes than Caddo, are so well and favorably known, and though the wedding was a surprise to their many friends, they upon returning home will receive the congratulations of the entire community.
Granville was my mother's uncle. I don't remember him, but I think I do remember her.
Wasn't she in the convalescent hospital there in Caddo?
