Boy Accidentally Shot
Last Sunday at Folsom Grove, Elmer Brown, 15 years of age, was accidentally shot with a pistol, receiving wounds from which he died. It seems that the Brown boy and Mood Shelton, another youth, having been to Sunday school went to Shelton’s home to look at a pistol belonging to Shelton.
It seems that the boys, after examining the gun, unloaded it and Shelton says they did not reload it; and they snapped it several times, with the result that young Brown was fatally injured. Shelton was examined by a coroner’s jury.

Mrs. Willis, aged 68 years, died at her home nine miles east of Caddo Tuesday afternoon. She was an old settler, and has lived here about forty years. Interment was made in Turnbull Cemetery.

Died, at the home of W. G. Ward, Sunday January 9th, Baxter, the little son of Mrs. and Mrs. Henry Ward. It is hard to realize “thy will be done” as the little white casket goes out of the home and leaves the mother’s arms empty. But of such is the Kingdom of Heaven.
