Organizations

Caddo Alumni Association
The alumni association arranges a Caddo High School reunion every four years. Next one is 2012.
Caddo Educational Foundation
This group provides scholarships for community youth.
Caddo Civic and Cemetery Club
This group maintains and improves the cemetery and provides community service as needed.
Town Restoration Association of Caddo
The mission of TRAC is to provide visionary leadership, focus on historical preservation, and promote economic growth to enrich the quality of life in our community.
Caddo Community Association
The CCA holds the annual Heritage Day Celebration and participates in other community projects.

We had a great time at the annual CCA Children’s Party with Santa last night. The ladies made wonderful cookies!! And of course they served up lots of warm cocoa.

Santa talked to the children and gave out candy canes while Doug and Melissa Grace helped make memories with some precious photos. I think the tearful, “let me down!” ones will be the keepers! Lol A couple of the “big kids” even had their photo taken with Santa!

There were craft tables, and a story and lots of happy visiting going on. Always a good night for the community.

This year TRAC added to the festivities by giving out tickets for free treats from the downtown merchants. We handed out tickets which could be redeemed at the merchants from 5-7pm. Tickets will also be given at the light display for the next two Saturday nights. If you are a resident you can look on the community bulletin board for details.

I want to introduce you to Doug and Melissa Grace. Doug is a hometown boy and has a studio a few miles north of Caddo. You can visit his website Amazing Grace Photography and I think you will be pleasantly surprised by all the services he can provide for you. Give him a call and have him photograph your family while they are visiting for the holidays!
