Unless something interferes to cause a change of plans, the First State Bank of Caddo will open for business in the room of the Caddo National Bank.
The Caddo National Bank will move to Atoka to merge with the Atoka State Bank of which W. N. Green is active manager.
Officers of the First State Bank are G. A. Mason, pres., Henry F. Bass, vice president, Dan Mason, cashier. G. A. Mason, Ralph Ownby, Howard Holmes, C. T. Jonson, W. E. McIntosh, H. F. Bass, and W. W. Boone are directors.
The new bank will start with a new slate, and will take care of the financial needs of the community as they arise.
G. A. Mason is president of the Commercial National Bank of Durant. Dan Mason is his son, who will make his home here. Ownby and Holmes are businessmen of Durant, well known to Caddo people. The other directors are well known Caddo business people.
While regretting to lose the Caddo National, Caddo people as a unit will welcome the new bank and wish it prosperity.
