Mrs. D. M. Wilson has returned from a visit with relatives and friends in Carthage, MO.
Mrs. J. C. Carlton of McPherson Kansas, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hat Powell.
Ernest Jackson Slack has gone back to Shreveport after spending a week with his mother.
Mrs. Doris W. Faudree, who has been visiting her other Mrs. M. Wilson, has returned to Tulsa.
John Mitchell and a brother came from Alabama to attend the Jim Mitchell funeral Tuesday.
Mrs. Fred Washington, Mrs. W. E. McIntosh, and Mrs. G. A. Crossett attended some meeting of the WSCS in Bokchito Thursday.
C. M Reeve, Jr. who is working in San Francisco, flew from there Monday to be at the funeral of his grandfather, Jim Mitchell.
Mr. and Mrs. Mark Cointevas of Dallas, were here Sunday. They were accompanied by Mrs. Ida Kushcke who had visited them a month in Dallas.
Mrs. Louis Propps was in Denison Saturday. She was accompanied home by her mother, L. F. Lassiter who is visiting her a few weeks.
Russell Wood, of Sherman, was here Tuesday, as were also a very large number of former residents of his community to attend the funeral of Jim Mitchell.
Mrs. Bun McGee has returned home from a week’s visit wither her daughter in Dallas. She reports her son who was stationed in San Francesco in the Marine is now station at Pearl Harbor.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Lee Watson and daughter, Olna Ruth, of Waurika, were weekend guests of Mrs. M. A. Cassidy. They were accompanied home by Jimmy Carroll who will spend several weeks there.
Mr. and Mrs. James O. Braley of Oklahoma City are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Pink Williams. Mr. and Robert Williams and son of Muskogee, with their son Bobby, also are visiting the Williams.
