Mrs. Crossett Has Nice Birthday Party Monday
Neighbors gathered on Monday eve for a birthday party for Mrs. G. A. Crossett, who declines to admit her years, at the Crossett home. Rook, that intriguing little game that ever holds hope of a better hand next time, was given a good workout.
Present were Mrs. Downing, Mrs. Lake Brewer, Mrs. C. D. Robinson, Mrs. Mary Locke, Mrs. J. C. Hogan, Mrs. R. L. Pace, Mrs. C. A. Hancock, Mrs. Oscar Nail, and Mrs. A. E. McCreary.
A lovely gift was presented to Mrs. Crossett who said, “When these nice things are done for you, you don’t mind that the years are turning your hair to silver.”
The party was for my grandmother and attending were my Mother and Aunt. Thank you so much for this.
