The theme for Heritage Day 2009 is "Horses & Hitches, Overalls & Britches" to recognize the part horses and mules, farmers and cowboys have played in the lives of residents in the past as well as presently. We are encouraging people to bring horse-drawn equipment such as plows, rakes, wagons etc. for the parade and then to display them downtown. Bill Proctor and his band will entertain as well as provide opportunities for karaoke for anyone in the audience who wishes to participate.
