The Caddo Herald

Of Local Interest
About thirty of the local Woodmen went to Nail last Monday night where the Caddo lodge degree team exemplified the work for the benefit of the camp at Nail. Eighteen new members were initiated. The Caddo boys are loud in their praise of the good people of the community for the royal manner in which they were entertained. After the work was almost finished along toward midnight, a recess was taken and the Nail people turned the lodge room into a banquet hall, everything imaginable that is good to eat was spread before the visitors and they were bade eat to their hearts content. We would like to publish the menu but that is impossible, for if they served as lavishly as one man from here says they did it would take an entire edition of The Herald to tell all about that supper. Cap. I. S. Powell, of the local degree team, deserves much praise for the efficiency of the Caddo degree team which is by the way, one of the best in the state.
