Grandmother Mahana Dies

Saturday, June 3, Mrs. Addeline Mahana, aged mother of S. P. Mahana of the Pleasant Hill neighborhood, passed to her reward and was laid to rest Sunday afternoon in the Pleasant Hill cemetery, Rev. L. D. Saunders conducting the funeral services.

Grandmother Mahan has resided in this country for 30 odd years and was well loved by all who knew her. Her patient Christian life has been an example and incentive to all with whom she came in contact.

She was left a widow many years ago and reared a family of seven children to maturity. Of these only two survive her, Mrs. John Wallis of Sansaba, Tex.  and S. P. Mahana with whom she made her home.

The entire community greatly sympathizes with the bereaved family.
