Methodist Church Chooses Officers
Last Friday night the Fourth Quarterly Conference of the Methodist Church was held by Rev. Crutchfield, the presiding elder.
Reports from all officers show every department in good shape. Finances were reported, “every thing in full”- salary, conference collections, incidentals and all.
On account of some leaving town, some new stewards were elected, the new board being: Frank Williams, Mrs. H. W. Braudrick, R. B. Evans, G. A Crossett, Mrs. G. B. Moran, V. W. Slack, and L. M. Nettleton.
Trustees are the same ones, and no change was made in the Sunday School Superintendant, G. B. Moran being chosen his third year.
A large congregation was present both morning and evening, there being no services elsewhere.
Next Sunday there will be no preaching services at this church.
