Busy Bee Cafe Moves to its Own New Quarters
This week Mr. and Mrs. Maury Lochridge moved their Busy Bee Cafe to their own building that was recently vacated by Edwards and Sons furniture store.
The place had been beautifully decorated with asphalt floors, a fluorescent lighting system, new tables and counters, the walls in light blue Kemtone, plumbing up to date; all to give better service to their customers.
Tuesday afternoon they held a get acquainted reception when coffee and cake were served to some two hundred well wishers who came upon invitation as the guests of the cafe.
There are some adv'ts. in The Herald, congratulating Mr. and Mrs. Lochridge, and telling who did the splendid work.
The Busy Bee Cafe is a credit in appointments and service to all Southeastern Oklahoma.
The Lochridges are proud of their place and always have a glad welcome for you.
I am proud of my work.
I did the work on the walls and ceiling, installed the lights, plumbing, and wiring, put up and finished sheetrock, and did the cabinet work of which I feel a pardonable pride.
I congratulate Mr. and Mrs. M. Lochridge on their nice Cafe, one any community might point to with civic pride. Lee Simmons
